WIAA Athlete of the Week

BROOKE BAKER

Brooke Baker had an amazing first week of games for Bothell's Fastpitch team as she helped lead the Cougars to a 5-0 record. The senior went 8-of-16 at the plate with four homeruns, two doubles, seven runs, and 11 RBI's. She also made a game-saving catch on a line drive at second base in the seventh inning, that helped secure a 7-5 win against Bonney Lake. Baker blasted a homerun in four consecutive games.

Cougar Statue Makeover

The cougar statue that greets the Bothell softball team near the dugout entrance was in desperate need of a makeover. Fortunately, Miss Stockton had an art student that stepped up with a vision of what it could be. That student developed a sketch, mixed all the paint colors needed and completed the masterpiece in one sitting.
