Coaches letter

Bothell Track and Field 2023-2024 Bothell Track and Field has a fairly young coaching staff that will continue to grow the program. This is one of our most skilled staffs with a majority of the coaches having competed at the Collegiate level. We focus on developing all athletes at all ability levels in order to reach their maximum potential, while having fun.  

Basic Info

General Track Practice: M-F from 3:45pm–5:30pm and Saturdays from 10:00–12:00 @ Bothell High School Track and Field. In order to maximize practice time, we ask that all athletes show up at least 10 minutes early. Practice may vary slightly depending on the day/event/part of the season. Updates will always be provided to athletes via email and in person.

This is our primary method of posting team information and results as it’s used by the WIAA for reporting purposes.  

Meets (competitions) are generally Wednesday or Thursday, however, there are some meets that differ such as a Saturday invitational (varsity). Start times also differ based on the meet. You can find our meet schedule on the athletic.net link from above. All meet information will be sent out the week of, but if there are any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out to the head coach.

STATE CHAMPIONS

After the State Track meet BHS brought home 3 State Champions:

Luka Vincic was the first in breaking one of the oldest school records dating back to 1957 in shot put with a throw of 55-02.25.

Followed by Logan Powell who broke two state meet records winning both discus 90-07and javelin 74-02 .

Lastly followed by Haedyn Bambolo also winning in Shot put continuing to further break her school record with a throw of 43-03.25.jhf
