Parents of all FALL athletes -- Parent meeting -- AUGUST 31 - NPAC AT 6:30! Breakout sessions with coaches by sport follow at various rooms on campus.
The Bothell Volleyball program is rich in traditions of teamwork and commitment. Every fall the coaching staff is excited to get the season underway and develop their plan to uphold these traditions with their athletes. The coaching staff is a tight-knit group that has a unified love for coaching volleyball. Coach Davis and Monsef have been coaching together for the last 24 seasons. Coach Dez, a former Bothell stand-out and collegiate player instills the Bothell Way early, as she coaches up our younger athletes. Coach Westlund is a new addition to our staff, but not to the game of volleyball. Westlund, a former college player and head coach, adds great knowledge to our program.
Bothell Volleyball has a vibrant history of success and our goal every year is to make a run at the district title and compete for a state trophy. In 2019 we gained one of the most talented class of freshmen we have ever seen. Together with our seniors and the other returners from last year’s varsity team, we have an experienced and committed group of ladies who are ready to mark their place in Bothell Volleyball history. We are looking forward to the 2020 season!
While we strive for our success on the court, the coaching staff emphasizes the development of student-athletes. Most of the coaching staff are educators and emphasize the importance of our ladies' work off the court. Their commitment to the classroom was evident last season, as we were the 2019 State Academic Champions! Our program is dedicated to upholding our Core Values, which we sum up as having Bothell P.R.I.D.E. Purpose, Resilience, Integrity, Determination, and Enthusiasm are the guiding principles for our athletes and our program.
Lastly, our continued progress and success would not be possible without the help of our parents. Thank you for your continued support. Can’t wait to get back on the court! Come be part of our fan club! Go Cougs!
