Registration 

Be sure to register and be cleared through Final Forms before attending summer training and tryouts. There is a registration for Summer and Fall. All communications will be done through Final Forms. Here is the link to register : https://bothell.nsd.org/athletics/register-for-athletics 

 

2024 Bothell HS Volleyball Coaching Staff

There is a transition of coaching staff this year. Marlie Davis, and Russel Monsef are retiring from coaching high school volleyball, and have built a strong foundation, leaving a tremendous legacy in this program.  Although they will not be heading the program together this season, I am pleased and truly honored to serve this program as head coach this year. I have had the privilege of playing for Davis and Monsef as a former Bothell graduate (2009) and coaching alongside them for about a decade. Currently, we are in progress of establishing the rest of the coaching staff. Stay tuned for our coaching staff updates.

 

Eligibility

You must be registered in Final Forms and eligible (i.e., not red) to participate in tryouts and the Fall season. Please take care of this early. There are no eligibility exceptions. If your status is yellow or grey you can participate in tryouts and training, but you must be green before you can play in a match. If you are red, you will not be able to tryout or participate in training until you are at least yellow or grey, so get those eligibility requirements taken care of early!

TRYOUT/PRE-SEASON PRACTICE SCHEDULE

All student athletes interested in playing for the Bothell HS Volleyball team are required to participate in tryouts. If your student athlete will not be available to attend the tryout dates due to injury or being out of town please contact me (ddiego@nsd.org) before August 26th.

Team Selections

Our goal is to make team selections and cuts by Wednesday of tryout week. Team selections/decisions and cuts will be communicated through personal conversations on the last tryout day (Weds Aug 28). Any student athlete that has questions about team selection decisions are welcome to contact me directly at ddieg@nsd.org. 

 

Practice and Game Day Schedules 

Practice days and times will be on non-game days everyday of the school week. 

C and JV : 3:45-5:45

Varsity : 4:30-6:30

Games this season are scheduled to be Mondays and Wednesdays

C and JV Games begin at 5:15

Varsity Games begin at 7:00

 

Tournaments : Each team should be able to participate in at least 1-2 tournaments this season. 

C - Sat Sep 14 + (tournament date/location TBD)

JV - Sat Oct 26 + (tournament date/location TBD)

Varsity - Sat Sep 7 and Sat Oct 5
