TENNIS:

The Boys Varsuty tennis team traveled to Liberty on Thursday. Though we were without our #1singles player, our boys battled all afternoon.

Some outstanding performances were

Mack McCaustland at #2 singles. After losing the first set 0-6, Mack made some adjustments and won the second set 7-6. In the third set Mack lost a tough super tie breaker 4-10

Roman Ghazal and Charlie Tverski(ILHS) won in straight sets 6-1, 6-2 at #1 dubs

Logan Christy moved into 3rd dubs with Shawn Li and they pulled off a 6-2, 7-5 victory

Our team is young and learning every match what Kingco tennis is all about.

SOCCER:

The girls JV soccer team earned another shut out vs Redmond HS last night.  Goal keepers Charlotte Odegaard and Olivia Grant teamed up to deny all attempts for Redmond to get on the board.  The offensive threats peppered the Mustang goal throughout the first half but Bromley Eugster was the sole goal scorer at the end of the first half.  Bothell went into the second half up 1-0 and wasted no time when Bromley Eugster scored her second goal within the first minute of the second half.  This helped open the flood gates when Emi Ottersburg beat a defender on the outside and played a nice ball inside the box to Logan Robinson who slotted a ball far post for the 3-0 lead.  Shortly after the 3rd goal, Marina Barnes took a cross from Logan Robinson and struck a beautiful ball first time in the back of the net.  The scoring was concluded when Sam Brooke smashed in the 5th goal after being played a nice pass from Marina Barnes, making it a decisive Bothell 5-0 win.

The defensive back line consisting of Rylee Ryan, Maya Hage, Aven Miller, Lilah Ladd, Kennedy Garcia and Maddie Van Der Roer not only kept RHS from scoring but did a remarkable job playing possession out of the back.
